Τα χόστα είναι ποώδη με υψηλή καλλωπιστική αξία χάρη στο πολύ  διακοσμητικό φύλλωμα τους καθώς και για τα άνθη τους που εμφανίζονται πάνω σε όρθια στελέχη τον Αύγουστο και Σεπτέμβριο.

Προτιμούν θέσεις σκιερές ή ημισκιερές και είναι κατάλληλα για φύτευση σε παρτέρια, βραχόκηπους, σε συνθέσεις καθώς και σε γλάστρες, ζαρντινιέρες.

Hosta 'Firn Line' is probably the most beautiful in this color combination and in the spring,it will be for sure one from the most beautiful hostas in your garden.

It is like it come from another planet. It comes from Hosta 'First Frost'. Differences to a similar 'Blue Ivory' and hosta 'Great Escape' (registered by Jan van den Top) are not absolutely clear but, it seems that hosta 'Firn Line' has brighter white on borders and also quality of growth is better.

Center part of the heart-shaped, powdered, flat leaves is green-blue blue, very wide, white edges. In the second half of the season color turns to blue-green.

Clump is topped with lavender flowers. Hosta 'Firn Line' is resistant to snails, as they do not like the waxy, leathery leaves of this cultivar.
